Erik Walenza-Slabe is the Shanghai Director of Startup Grind, a global network of more than 150 entrepreneur communities. He earns his bread as Shanghai Managing Director of The Applied Value Group, an American management consultancy focusing on cost and capital efficiency. In addition, he is the co-founder of Value Added, an online HR startup that places students in mentored internships with startups and service firms. He holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and was born and bred in Portland, Oregon.

Startup Grind is a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. It is powered by Google for Entrepreneurs. We host monthly events in more than 150 cities and 65 countries featuring successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors who share personal stories and lessons learned on the road to building great companies, Our monthly fireside chat interviews, startup mixers and annual conferences provide ample opportunities to connect with amazing startups and the people behind them, tap into a strong support network, form meaningful connections and gain inspiration for the startup journey ahead. Started by Derek Andersen and Spencer Nielsen in February 2010 in a small office in Mountain View California, the original goal to bring together friends who would help each other has spread across the world. 

MBA BIBLES is an international organization dedicated to connecting and inspiring MBA/EMBA all over the world. Founded in MIT, We bring together Core CEOs, professors, elite, leaders, top MBA/EMBA graduates and  students through our on-line and off-line services.

Yuchen (YC) Zhang graduated from Zhejiang University in China and after that received the Professional Doctorate in Software Engineering from The Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. YC started his professional career with 5 years working in Philips Research as a software designer and project leader in creating First-of-a-Kind products in the domain of healthcare and lifestyle.  During his time in Philips, YC was also the leading force forming the open innovation alliance between Philips and its key suppliers.  Apart from his strong tech background, YC also has been a active networker and explorer in the startup circle of various regions, including Amsterdam, Shanghai, San Francisco, London and Berlin. He has been a serial participant of Startup Weekend, and has been one of the organizers in Startup Weekend Amsterdam, and a serial mentor of Startup Weekend Shanghai.  Since early 2014, YC has rebased his venture and business focus in Shanghai. Together with his team and partners, their mission is to create a highly co-creative and collaborative network for the diverse entrepreneurs in Shanghai.
