About Jet Angel.
Inspired by Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a U.S charity founded in 1981, Angel
Jet Network (AJN) is the first charitable organization in the Asia Pacific region
whose mission is to leverage corporate aviation to transport underprivileged
patients to medical treatment centers across Asia Pacific.
Similar to the CAN model, AJN will partner with corporate aviation providers whoare willing to donate empty legs, empty seats or flight hours to transport patients in
rural or remote locations to medical centers. While CAN’s focus is exclusively on
cancer patients, AJN will assist patients with a wide-range of medical conditions
including cancer, cardiac and pulmonary disease, congenital deformities and other
disorders. Patients will be sourced through established charities currently serving
these communities and individuals in need of critical medical care,
AJN’s aviation partners will include business jet owners, operators and airlines that
wish to share their assets to assist less fortunate members of society. Air partners
can participate by donating empty legs, empty seats on scheduled flights or flight
hours that can be used to transport patients or sold at market rates with proceeds
donated to AJN.
Founded by a team of women aviation professionals, corporate leaders and
philanthropists from across Asia Pacific and beyond, AJN creates an opportunity for
business aviation to be a responsible and caring partner to medically-underserved
communities.
